looking to get total step count for previous year

ANSWERED

Hi All

I am sure this has been asked before but I am having difficulty finding an answer that is correct now that Google took over fitbit and the dashboard is no more.

Can someone tell me how to get the previous years step total preferably on my desktop if possible?

Thanks

Hi

Thank you for the reply but that just gives daily average for each month of the year.  I am looking for the total steps Jan 01, 2024 to Jan 1 2025.  Is that possible.  We used to get a nice graph in the old system that gave you your yearly total like the below screen from 2023.

Hello @Xpdite and welcome to the Community.  Please tap on your step tile or icon, depending on your screen setup.  Tap on Year in the Day, Week, Month, Year section.  Tap on the back arrow in the This year section.  I see my average daily step count in a large font.  My total steps are listed below.

The desktop is disabled for yearly stats.  If you want to see your lifetime and best stats, you can see them with a web browser.  Tap on your scree name on this page.  You will see your Community profile.  Tap on the blue Go to Fitbit.com profile beneath your avatar.  This seems to be the only page left from the web version.  You can find your lifetime and beat stats there.

So dashboard is no more despite the monthly summary with a link to dash board. That’s why it just takes me to a load of watch adverts. I was looking for steps last year compared to 2023!

@mit_rekab   You can go tap on that left arrow to see 2023.  Further back, too.  Fitbit has been aware of that link to the dashboard in your weekly email ever since the web dashboard was shut down.  I guess it is just very low on the priority of things to fix.

Found my total for last year in the small print on the app but it is no where as nice as what it was in previous years like the image above.

Now the best you get is this
