Anyone out there into quotes that are motivating? Just as music can help inspire, I think quotes can too. Please share a quote that helps get you going. Thanks! Here are two of mine:
1. "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you are right."
--Henry Ford
2. "Do not let what you cannot do, interfere with what you can do."
--John Wooden, coaching legend

I like the Nike "Just Do It"
For many years, my mind was very clever in thinking up ways NOT to do it. Now that I'm well along the way to meeting my weight goal, I physically exhert myself when ever I can.
My corollary to the above:
Why lay down when you can sit up?
Why sit up when you can stand?
Why stand when you can walk?
Why walk when you can run?
Why not, indeed.....

I think about the number of people who laughed when I said I wanted to lose 40 pounds this year. That's what motivates me. Hearing them say I can't...and then hearing my 8 year old daughter tell me that she thinks I can. Can't get much better than that. 🙂
