thinking of buying a new fitbit

I am a very active person and I have a Surge now, but was thinking about buying a new tracker.  Any suggestions ?    I am a runner, and also train in a gym, and also run some obstacle races also,  so they tend to get wet and muddy at times     I dont beleive any tracker is water proof,   Just wondering as to a popular choice    Thanks

The new Fitbit Ionic could be the perfect fit for you. It’s only available for pre-order for now, but you can use your Surge until then. The Surge has been my main tracker for the past 2.5 years and I’m seriously considering the Ionic.

@CHIPLEE, the Fitbit Flex 2 is waterproof, and designed for swimmers, and the newly announced Fitbit Ionic is water resistant to 50 meters, so either of those would be a good choice.

I'd look at the new Ionic (available soon). While nothing is 'waterproof', it is water resistant to 50 meters, which means it is good for swimming (and mud and rain) and will track swims. It is also to the first Fitbit with integrated GPS (what any real runner wants), without having to piggyback off your smart phone.

Actually, it’s the second one: Surge (introduced in early 2015) was first.
