Accuracy of steps etc. particularly on a treadmil: I solved the problem by snapping the larger band on my ankle. Perfect accurate count....matchs the treadmill !!! The issue is the leg moves!

Which Fitbit tracker are you using? I'm surprised you would get an accurate step count by using it on your ankle, which isn't the recommended way to wear any Fitbit AFAIK. How do you know the data reported by your treadmill is accurate in the first place? Maybe by wearing your Fitbit in a non-recommended way, you just matched the inaccuracy of your treadmill...
