Any type one diabetics out there?

Hello fellow fitbitters! Does anyone with nutritional experience (I mean a degree this does affect my health so please dont reply if you don't work in the field or arent a diabetic- no offense) or a type one diabetic have any suggestions on how glucose tablets/shots affect your calorie count and how to offset this on days you have alot of low bloodsugars?

I work out sometimes up to four times a day and I eat healthy,. Vegetarian and don't eat anything processed or with sugar , but when my sugars drop some days because of work, working out, or diabetes just being diabetes I have to eat glucose and it's 15 calories per tablet and orange juice is like 100 plus depending on how much I have to intake. This sucks for a calorie count and it makes me go over budget which also is off putting when you work out so much.

Any suggestions? Also fitbit it would be nice if y'all would include an option to put certain diseases/medications that can affect people's food intake/calorie out count because some days I also can't work out due to the diabetes.

Always look up, being thankful is easy 🙂

Hello @Dezzzzzz  I moved your post to the Healthy Eating Forum area, so you'll get more responses. Have you joined any diabetic groups on the app community? Hoping you get some members to reply!

@Dezzzzzz  on the app, go to "Community" and then go to "Groups" to explore all the different ones. Lots to explore on there!
