After spending some time online, I've come to the conclusion that people like the whole "What I eat in a day" video series that different personalities put out.
I didn't really understand the appeal until I landed on WW (Weight Watchers) with my wife.
Suddenly, I was concerned about what I was making for dinner.
I didn't know what to make if I couldn't fry up a piece of chicken with mashed potatoes.
Suddenly... I found myself looking at the "What I eat in a day" videos that these people were producing.
After getting enough success in what was working for me, and what was working (kinda) for my wife, we tried or own hand at it.
We actually had no idea how it would go. But, in tried and true fashion, we found that while putting our own content together, we discovered what was working for us.
Unfortunately, we also found what wasn't working for the wife. BUT... I think we have a game plan to combat that this upcoming week.
We're going to keep trying to eat better (for weight loss), but we're also going to change liquid consumption to see if that impacts the plateau we hit.
Fingers Crossed.

That sounds great @RubyHunter4, trying new things is always exciting and it's better when you're not alone in this journey. I'll keep my finger crossed for you too 😉🤞. These video food diaries are incredibly popular on visual platforms and I think it's helpful to get a sneak peek into someone else’s eating habits, you can get a lot of great ideas. 😁 But it's best if you don't take it too serious, try to work with what is best for you and I hope you and your wife learn a lot from this experience.
See you around!

Can you link to some of the more helpful ones?
I am struggling some days to maintain the desire to eat my recommended intake. Maybe another influence will help?
