My hubbie loves to eat out - especially breakfast, which is a meal I find challenging when it comes to ordering. (Another egg-white omelette??? YAWN....)
I often order PLAIN whole wheat pancakes (short stack!) with a side of cottage cheese. I then spoon the cottage cheese between the pancakes and it sort of melts, if you will. It tastes like a real treat to me and fills me up for hours. After tasting it, several people have started ordering this, too! Be sure to ask the server to hold the butter because they often plop a big blob onto the plate which seeps all over before you can rescue your lovely, healthy pancake from taking a dip in saturated fat.

I like to order a greek omelet, it's filled with roasted red peppers, spinach, feta cheese and diced onions. I usually don't have any type of meat with it but when I do it's usually two sausage links or two bacon strips. Another thing I like to eat is a blueberry crepe, my trainer suggest oatmeal with fruit in it like peaches or blueberry.

I actually find breakfast a very easy meal to eat out. If you don't go nuts with a "lumber jack" breakfast or anything crazy, it's really not an issue. 2 eggs and 2 or 3 pieces of bacon is loaded with protein and not a ton of calories, or an omelet (preferably not loaded with cheese). I love breakfast!

Latin food is always an ally when it comes to breakfast.
Simple scrambled eggs with tomato + onion, queso fresco on some toasted tortillas is always good.
boiled black beans with boiled sweet plantains and queso fresco is yummy
