Breastfeeding and tracking

I am consuming between 300-500 more calories a day because I am currently breastfeeding and my main concern is doing the best that I can for my baby.  The guidelines say that I should be consuming 60g of fat a day but I am having a hard time finding a good balance.  If I am able to hit the 60g in a day my calories run out very quickly and I am left feeling hungry.  If I stay within my caloric parameters I am short about 20g of fat.  I eat healthy fats; mainly avocado and nut source.  Do you have any other suggestions of healthy fats that aren't a horrible calorie killer?  The avocado is high in fat and reasonable in calories but I cannot eat it all day.  🙂  Hoping to hear from other breastfeeding mamas but love any kind of feedback!

Hi, I just got my Flex band for christmas, I am too breastfeeding, but I have to stay away from most foods, my baby girl is allergic to milk, soy, eggs and almonds so far and is just 7 months.  I hoping to get my weight on track and learn a heathlt diet for my girl.  we'll have to keep in touch! this mommy world is totally different. It's tough, especially with allergies and sensitivities. My daughter couldn't tolerate garlic, onion, or soy. She would get painfully gassy but now as an almost 3 year old loves and tolerates them well. Sometimes it's just maturing their guys. Hopefully your little one will outgrow them in time.

When you haven't had enough to eat do you feel super dizzy and lightheaded? It's extreme for me right now and I'm thinking it's bc of breastfeeding but I'm not sure. My little guy is 11 mo old but my body has had a heck of a time getting back to normal. I was on strict bed rest for 5 mo and lost all muscle tone, while getting progesterone shots. Losing weight has been so much more difficult and everything else seems so out of whack.

Yup it's hard, but dizziness/ light headedness is mostly likely not enough fluids. Drink a bit more water, breastfeeding will do that to us.
