Generally, I have a 2 oz. Egg Beaters omelet (28 cals) on either a Mission Carb Balance tortilla (80 cals) or a Thomas English Multi-grain wheat Muffin (100 cals). I add a half slice of Hormel Canadian Bacon (35 cals) or 2-3 slices of Turkey Pepperoni (5 cals/slice) and a 1/3-1/2 oz of 2% Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese (90 cals per ounce). Total = 162 to 180 calories. Nothing between breakfast and lunch.

I also eat oatmeal porridge for breakfast. Mine includes chia seeds like yours, an apple, wheat bran, wheat germ (tablespoonfull of each), half a teaspoon of ground ginger and a teaspoon of matcha green tea powder (currently with lemon, because that's what the shop had and it's delicious). And then sugar and cinnamon on top.

@FitSwiss13Thanks for sharing your breakfast! Bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, mangoes, melons, apples, peaches and pears are all tasty and healthy fruits you can mix with oatmeal for added sweetness. Most fruit is rich in vitamin C, fiber and other essential nutrients. If you don't have fresh fruit on hand, substitute frozen.

Hello everyone,
I am new to Fitbit and this is my first post on the Fitbit community discussions.
Breakfast for me can range from, pancakes, oats, weetabix, scrambled egg on toast. Really depends on what is left in the cupboards and the time of month in respect to pay day.

@LordHeathenGreat to have you participating and sharing with us all!
I can't knock that! What's in the cupboards is what I grew up eating as my mother was not one to let food go to waste!

I usually make a delicous smoothie! I put some frozen mangoes and pineapple chuncks in a blender along with yogart and kale. I but a little orange juice in there, too! It's fast and super yummy!

These all sound like such good options! My usual breakfast consists of some fresh fruit, and some protein if possible! I really like greek yogurt, granola, and chopped up strawberries. Mmmm.. I'm getting hungry

My staple breakfast is my 'chic, cheese and chilli' (as tagged in My Fitness Pal) wrap. Super tasty, high in protein, easy and portable!
I use a Goodness Super Food Barley Wrap (http://goodnesssuperfoods.com.au/wholegrain-barley-wraps/) Do be careful when choosing your wrap, because most are high in calories and not of great nutritional value. So, wrap, plus low fat cottage cheese (about 50grams or two big tablespoons) plus 55 grams of fat free deli chicken. And a squirt of Siracha chilli sauce (gotta have some kick).
While a high in sodium for one meal, the ease, nutritional balance and overall tastiness of this works well for me. I just choose options with less sodium for the rest of the day.
This works with ham, turkey and roast beef (and stays in a similar calorie range).

Two soft boiled eggs chopped with a squirt of mustard. I typically boil 8 eggs to have available for breakfast or snacks and I buy low sodium mustard (and I've made my own with ground mustard & homemade mayo.)
On weekends when I have more time, I often make a fritatta. Preheat your oven to 350. Chop about 2 cups of veggies (or use leftover cooked veg) onion is necessary!, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc. In a large skillet, cook a couple of slices of bacon & remove from the pan to cool. Cook the uncooked veg in the bacon grease (or bulk sausage works, too,). Crumble the bacon and add it to the veggies. Add salt & pepper & any other seasonings such as sage, crushed red pepper, fresh basil, etc. Whisk 6-8 eggs with a bit of milk (dairy or hemp or almond, etc.) Pour the eggs over the veg mixture in the pan and put the pan in the oven to bake until the eggs are set and the top and edges are beginning to brown. Cut into wedges and serve with avocado or sliced cheese. Once I had about 1/2 cup of plain canned pumpkin & I whisked it with some ground sage in the eggs & poured it over cooked bulk sausage & veg. This is my favorite combination,

@runlacerun Ever since @rickpags53 mentioned it earlier in the thread, I've been having egg whites in the morning. They're great! Especially with some hot sauceand pepper.
Also, I just googled Death Wish Coffee, which I learned is the "Worlds Strongest Coffee." It sounds so intense. Any side effects? Do you crash? I drink Peet's black every day, one cup usually does it.

I like to eat 1/2 cup of quick oats, 1 scoop of protein powder, cocoa nibs, 1tbsp chia, flax, and hemp seeds. Or, I like to make a quinoa porridge. This is during the work week. On the weekends, I will like eggs and toast with fruit.

Cereal with 1% or skim milk every morning. Sometimes Raisin Brain, other times Frosted Mini Wheats, or Honey Nut Cheerios.
