Fitbit food tracker

Hi I’m new to FItbit, just got a new Charge4 seems good so far. 
I’ve been using My Fitness Pal to track food. 
Im interested in converting over but finding a number of bar codes don’t scan and the food diary seems a little limited- does anyone else have a view on this?

does it become easier the more you use it

This food tracking app seems to be in it's infancy. 5 or 6 years ago I used Fitness Pal as a nutrition tracker and it got nixed because I really don't have the time to manage 3-...18 different trackers. Using this one so far (2 days) I haven't figured out how to using the phone one to track food yet, just the PC version. I've been googling up the data for items that baffle the Fitbit foods library. If you figure out any hacks I'm all ears.

  • Tap the Today tab , and tap your profile picture.
  • Under Goals, tap Nutrition & Body.
  • Under Nutrition, find the option to start a food plan.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your food plan.

Thanks @Angela856 I've figured out what I wanted to get out of the food tracker app. Not going the food plan route just tracking.
