Hi Fitbit community!
I'm a new and very happy Fitbit Flex user.
I have no patience for calorie tracking and food databases (way too time consuming with doubtful accuracy) and what I care about most is my food quality so I photo capture my food in my GO-Meal and Fitness Tracker app.
I accidentally noticed this cool screen capture that is Food from my GO app plus Fitbit Activity. Unfortunately the timelines are in reverse direction from each other but I still really like the visual.
Just thought I'd share. Cheers!

I guess this might be a solo thread of my own but I hope not!
I'd love to see the visual representation of other Fitbit users days.
Meanwhile here's my today. I knew today was going to be active but I surprised myself with how much distance I ended up walking. I really focused on good nutrition when I was at home today and got a chicken stir-fry (asked for extra vegetables!) and a beer when I was out. All in all a really great day of being outside.
I hope others join in ... could be fun to share!

Today is my typical day ... except for a Red Meal - which is very unusual for me - but when you're out with family and no choices are great, you do the best you can and make up for it with extra nutrition and some extra exercise in the evening.
My last meal of the day was very high quality, low quantity and no later than 7:00.
Evening is easy-going outdoor walk and some time on the stationary bike.
Now I won't eat for 12 hours and wake up hungry for a delicious and nutritous breakfast.

You may already know this but meal timing(and how often) and not eating after a certain hour is a myth as long as you hit your calorie and macro target for the day. I eat late night almost every night and am down over 90 pounds

Hey NJMike - thanks for the reply!
I guess this shows how crazy weight loss is because I used to be an overweight triathlete who wanted to cry from the tedium and time spent "counting" calories (really was probably never accurate) and despite that and feeling like I was working out all the time I was still always being told by my coach that I needed to lose weight.
I stumbled on my current approach due to circumstances outside my control and was shocked when I dropped all my extra weight, and have kept it off for well over a year.
Now all I care about is my food quality, and basically try to make most of my food skew early in the day and most of my exercise (really just Activity) skews late in the day. This totally works for me and I've never been happier and healthier.
Really it's whatever works for the person I guess.

I've been posting in a couple other screenshot threads but I'd like to put a couple in the What's Cooking area too.
Here's my GO-Meal & Fitness + Fitbit timeline from yesterday and I'm including the day this week I'm most proud of (Apr 29) - for really good nutrition and good number of Fitbit Steps:
I would love to see a visual timeline of what others are doing.

Been too busy to log in lately but I'm happy with yesterday's food and Fitbit Steps so I thought I'd post my screenshot.
Hope everyone has a healthy & active day!

After a week of travel I'm back to my normal routine.
Mothers Day was tough food-wise but I made up for it with almost 15,000 Fitbit steps through the day/evening.

Yesterday: not my best day activity-wise but I focused on high quality food to make up for it.

Active day yesterday, weather was nice so I got good quality outdoor time.
I love the Fitbit Flex but what the Flex calls Intense usually isn't intense at all for me. For example the green "Very Intense" line below at 8:00 was just a walk outside - nothing remotely intense at all - just moderate.
Actually I do only 2 intense strength workouts a week but otherwise I now see that I simply maintain moderate activity every day and focus on quality food and I maintain my perfect weight. Also - without counting a single calorie.
Seems counter to what we're always being told so I have no idea why this works so well for me - but I'm glad it does.

Also below is the visual representation of the past week. I always try for Green but sometimes you need some Red or Orange meals. I just offset those with it a bit more Fitbit Activity.

Starting a new week of GO app food tracking plus Fitbit activity - yesterday is below.
I already know I have some events this week that'll include Red (poor nutritional) quality meals so I'll offset those with Green (good nutrition) meals and excellent Fitbit activity.
