@Vsuarez2 I am curious about your second tip. Most people including me will argue that carbs are not made equal and that one should be choosy in the carbs they choose.. eating pasta, cookies, ice cream, white bread.. all rich in carbs- are you saying this is what people should do to be healthy? I am a big fan of carbs and eat my fair share everyday, so I am curious about your recommendations.

...humans require carbs to survive and more than most other creatures . 

...all carbs are indeed not alike, this is something I know all to well being a diabetic (under control)  consider almost any bread you buy in a grocery store today,100 years ago would not even be called bread ... apples, peaches, pears, cherries (love cherries) and berries also provide carbs, whole grains the same, nuts, legumes also work 

...there are also two other parallel categories of carbs which dictate what we consume and there lies the real problem 

1  FUN CARBS these would include pizza, doritos, camel corn, donuts, chips and twinkies 

2 NON FUN CARBS these include real whole grain bread, oatmeal, plain shredded wheat, grass clippings and hedge trimmings (the last 2 are more fiber than carbs but included anyway)
