How can I find out my goal details?

ANSWERED

Hi everyone!

New FitBit user here! I just bought my Versa today 🙂

I'm hoping you guys can help this newbie out.

As part of my setup, I set myself a goal to lose weight.

This is going to sound ridiculous - but I can't find out the numbers that I'm aiming for.

I'm trying to figure out the following:

  • What the number of calories I'm eating a day should be (given my goal)
  • What my macros are (ie - how many grams of protein, carbs and fat should I be eating, specifically for my weight loss goal?)

I'm not even sure if this info is provided (I can see the % for the macros, but I don't know if FitBit gives you targets for these, given your specific goal).

Thanks so much in advance!

Cerries 🙂

This site has some information that might help

https://healthyeating.sfgate.com/recommended-grams-nutrients-per-day-healthy-weight-loss-6294.html

But it only contains
Carbs Protein Fats

You will need to google the rest I know fiber is 25-30 grams as I have to make sure I get mine in

I'm now moving this post to the Eat well forum. There are l a lot of helpful people there. And Im sure you will get more information

The goals that @SunsetRunner stated has nothing to do with weight loss

Hi Cerries, on the dashboard of your Fitbit app, press the account icon on top of the screen on the right side (looks like a credit card). You will see a screen that starts with the name of your account, scroll down untill you see Goals and tap all of them (of course one after another) and set your goals. F.i. press Activity and you can set the amount of your steps, distance, etc, etc. This account also for all the other items in the Goal paragraph.
