I have several water bottles. Maybe I have too much lol. I love making sure I always have a water bottle besides me when I'm cooking, cleaning, using the computer, running errands, eating meals, going outside in the garden to do some yardwork, etc.
*Always carry a water bottle with you*
Track how many oz you are drinking & add them to your fit bit.
My waterbottles are 20 oz or more. I also use my protein shakers as water bottle. Some people find it easier to use a milk gallon as a water bottle so they can force themselves to finish the entire gallon. Personally, it's too big for me to carry around. I've always been good at drinking water. Now, I just make sure I have water around me.
Water too boring for you? Add flavor to it like leaving fruit in water bottle several hours to give it flavor like putting lemon, cherries, blueberries, strawberries, etc. I like doing this, too whenever I wanna change it up.
Love these! Of course there are more & you can always make you own. Hope y'all find it helpful! (:

@Evelyn071392 Nice looking bottle. I use an old measuring cup and I don't count all the ice I put in it.
Thanks for the reminder to drink more today!
Happy stepping.

It's a good reminder - I struggle to drink enough.
My current technique is to keep a glass by the kitchen sink which I know holds 200ml. Seeing it there when I go to the sink prompts me to fill it and drink. So far I have about doubled my intake but need to do more. Perhaps use a bigger glass!

@SteveH I also struggle with drinking plain water, I am a thirsty person but I usually go for sweeter things. I have tried water infussions, dasani drops and chugging a lt of water before going to bed.

I essentially only drink 2 things: 2 cups of black coffee (one at 8 am, another at 11 am), and ice cold water throughout my day.
There's nothing more refreshing than ice cold water during meals for me. Plus, I worry enough about the bad calories in the food that I'm eating- I take comfort in knowing that I'm taking in a maximum of 3 calories a day in drinks. Maybe I'm strange.

2liters of water per day is sufficient enough , there is no need to force yourself to drink huge amounts of water , drink one 500ml bottle of water every 3 hrs 4x a day , dont have to be guzzled , unless you want to . Try carbonated flavoured water that doesnt contain sugar or sweetener and its naturally flavored , its very refreshing and you will not feel bloted as the bubbles will make you burp , there are many flavours to choose eg. water mellon , orange , lime ,lemon , cherry , cucumber etc.
Just my personal experience .
Here is one brand , this is in Canada though

One thing I like to do for those rare times that I do have some sweet juice is to dilute it (heavily) with water. Want some of that watermelon juice from Trader Joe's? Put about a quarter of the glass in there, and make sure the other three quarters is water. Still nice taste, still plenty of water, and quite refreshing!
Maybe this is another weird 'me' thing.

Complimenting @EmersonFitbit's post, why not freeze it in an ice cube tray and then put them in a glass of water? Easy peasy

I am not a fan of plain water at all. I do however love cucumber water! I put a few cucumber peels in a big jug of water and the flavour changes quite quickly. Very refreshing! I also love doing the same but with strawberrys, mint and other berries.

Also, this is a great website to explore for other water infusion recipies. I made one today that includes blueberries, mint leaves, and cinnamon.

I set an alarm in my Charge to remind to drink water every hour. Sometimes I'm to focus in what I'm doing that I forget to drink water. It might work for you too!

The water drinking thing is nonsense.
There is water in nearly everything, coffee, milk, juice, vegetables, fruit - and it all counts.
Drinking too much, can cause medical problems, see this information from the Mayo Clinic
http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/hyponatremia/basics/definition/con-20031445
Your body has a very good notification system to tell you when to drink (you get thirsty).
The people that doesn't work for are runners. When you get thirsty, you should have taken
a drink (about a cup full) a mile back, and now your body will not catch up, and don't try.
Drinking water to stop/prevent eating, is equally nonsensical.

2 (additional) liters of water per day, is not correct.
2 litres of fluid per day, is correct - and that includes all beverages and water in fruit and vegetables.
