I love the barcode scanner in the FitBit app., but I was surprised to see that it doesn't recognize alcohol. As someone who consumes a fair amount of alcohol, I would like to see a software update to reflect this.
I can't be the only one who's not pleased with this omission.
A Google search didn't yield any results either. I would think that alcohol is high in calories, but....I haven't been able to verify exactly how much. Can someone point me in the right direction?

It's been around a while but doesn't yet have many votes. It's not exactly what you are suggesting but might be enough. Hopefully with some more Fitbit may consider it.

@SunsetRunner You might consider manually log it, calories depends on brand and amount but you can take the information from the can.🙂
