I usually consume 1500 calories a day but I end up really hungry by the end of the night. I usually drink water to fight the hunger but sometimes (like tonight) I give in and eat like a meal late at night haha, and it's not exactly healthy either.
I usually eat oatmeal w/ protein in the morning and that makes me stay full throughout the day. So I am considering adding more protein in my diet since I noted that the days I didn't eat oatmeal with protein were the days I was extremely hungry by the evening.
But what other things can I do? What do you guys do to fight off those midnight hungers or prevent it from coming in the first place?

How large is your deficit (well, difference between what you think you’re eating – since you said in another post you haven’t got a kitchen scale yet – and what your Fitbit thinks you’re burning)? How much weight do you want/need to lose? Maybe your deficit is too large and therefore harder to sustain. If you are already in the normal weight range, or not too far away from your "ideal" weight, you could reduce your deficit: it would take a bit longer to achieve your goal, but would be easier to stand (less cravings / risks of binging).
Otherwise eating enough protein is the right thing to do (tends to be more satiating), so is eating veggies high in fiber and low in calories. Also make sure you’re getting enough quality sleep, as insufficient sleep contributes to hunger.
