I found Bryers Carb Smart ice cream - Vanilla and Chocolate, they also have bars.
Thought i would pass this on, for all those keto dieters
I use the vanella ice cream with deit root beer. for root beer float very low carb treat !!
of course this is only done once in a while. I dont have cheat days, i have a cheat item.

I’ve also seen Halo Top mentioned here, a long time ago. Macros for 100g were:
calories: 82
protein: 8
fat: 3
carbs: 19
Breyers (note spelling) Smart Carb Vanilla has the following macros (also for 100g):
calories: 182
protein: 3
fat: 9
carbs: 21
I guess the Breyers ersatz must taste more like genuine ice-cream, because it has three times more fat. OTOH, Halo Top would be more "dieter-friendly", since it has half the calories and twice the protein. It would be equally "keto-friendly", since it has about the same amount of carbs. I have no experience with either, so I can’t say anything about taste (I prefer the real thing!).

Do you intend to make keto your new lifestyle, or only to use it as a weight loss tool, and to revert to "regular" eating habits once you’ve reached your goal?

@Wnttobefit I guess if it works for you go for it... but me personally, if I am going to have ice cream, I going all in. give me one scoop in a sugar cone of the most decadent flavor. Not often, but enough to remind me how delicious it is. Good luck in your fitness goal.. just remember to choose a lifestyle you can actually live with.. 🙂

i agree with you, i have been on Keto for months, only a few pounds to go, so i needed a small reward!- after watching my carbs & calories for so long, i needed a break. and by that i mean, just incorperate a carb diet of 40 - 50 carbs, not 20 carbs, and increase calories from 500-600 up to 900
my body needed a little boost. lol

I too prefer the real taste, but its not bad. I actaully only count carbs not micro..( oh my ) I try to eat no more then 20 cards or less a day, and eat 500- 600 calories.
but i need a break after months of it. what i mean is - I increase total carbs to 40 or 50 carbs, and increase calories up to 800-900 a day.

500-600 calories while dieting (for months on end), and 800-900 while not, sounds incredibly low for anyone, even the oldest and smallest individuals. I wonder what’s the goal of such self-imposed starvation.

Look under "carb smart" ice cream. i think they only have 3 falovors of ice cream, and 4 differant bars.
in my are we can only get vanilla, but the have chocolate, and a peanut butter flavor. the bars, they have a mint bar, chocolate coating with vanilla ice cream on inside, and a almond bar.
I was just surpsirsed when i saw it at the store. i pair it with my deit root beer, and wa-law root beer float, with hardly any carbs, or calories. of course i dont have this every day, its just a once in awhile treat.

yikes, well i dont feel like i am starving, and its not everyday. i will have to look at my chart. its all good, I am far from starving, i have found there are many low calories low carb foods, their are even some zero calories zero carb foods.
and i will even be having a low carb, not perfect brownie on the fourth of july family get together.- and i might even splurge and have a low carb mojito. (then bck at it ) not starving - i cant even do one of those 3 day fast, that some people do. yikes!
enjoy the holiday

good question, i think once i lose the remainig weight, I might keep up a combo of Keto, and add some low calories. I know that sounds corny. but do a little of both.i wil keep up low carbs low calorie and keep working out.
i have lost weight on the scale, and have been using a little weights, it seems like forever to get toned.
i have worn ankle weights, but i dont do that for too long. I wear them going up and down our stairs ( my version of a stair climber ) and i will go up and down 2 levels for maybe 10 or 15 minuets, then i do a little work out tape.
