LCHF Diet + Workout

Hello ! Good Morning !

I recently got my first Fitbit and it has motivated me to walk more and eat healthier again. A couple months ago before the holidays I was working on the LCHF (Low Carb High Fat) diet and it worked for me. I lost about 5-8 lbs. in the first two weeks. Doing a 24 HR fasting helped a lot too.

I was wondering would anyone want to join me?

Starting on Monday. January 16th.

Also I will be posting recipes that I have found that are really good.

I also hope to get a few friends to join me in challenges to motivate me on my days off of work.

You may want to consider joining one of the Fitbit Groups for LCHF diets & exercise, @StaySick. There are 3 or 4 groups already in existence for LCHF, and it would probably be really good place to share recipes.

@StaySick: yes, it’s a problem with Fitbit groups: they’re hard to find, and even if you manage to find one that matches your interests, chances are there will be very little activity in it. And if you start discussing a particular diet on one of the "mainstream" forums, chances are the discussion will degenerate into a sterile "my diet is better than yours" argument.

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

Sad but true, @Dominique, several perfect plans will be presented, some videos will appear, and soon the discussion wanders off course.  This would be less likely to happen in the groups, but as you and @StaySick both observed, they don't seem to get the activity needed to keep them going.

Thank you @USAF-Larry and @Dominique.

I think Ill have to stick to the "Discussions" part of the website.

It seems like everyone is here (hah).

Hi StaySick,

Are you still looking for people to come along on the LCHF + workout adventure?  If so, count me in. I'm a long time Fitbit (but waiting for replacement Flex2 to arrive after my Charge died), non-dogmatic LCHF'er who needs accountability in this journey. Would love to have someone to check in with.

Best,

Rose
