Hey Jes, here is a link Fitbit Recipes
I just use one of the calorie counting apps that have most products there. Im trying to keep below 1250/day atm.... Lifes good:) There is the inbuilt fitbit calorie counter but I find its very time consuming as it doesn't have the data in it yet.

Jesinta,
You can pair up your Fitbit with My Fitness Pal and get a nutritional value for any food you eat. You also have the capability of adding any food that is not in their database to their database.

I was lol king for a thread on this topic.. I would have thought, when you pay for a premium service, that they could include the calories of the recommended recipes, and have them listed in the database, rather than having to search up each ingredient, which also isn’t in text but rather a video. Very annoying! And as such I haven’t bothered with them.

I think it's no secret to anyone that the key to healthy and effective weight loss/muscle building is not only exercise, but also proper nutrition. To learn more about how to create a menu for weight loss or muscle building, you can take online courses in nutrition or dietetics. I recently read here https://traineracademy.org/certifications/nutrition-certifications/ about the best training programs for nutrition professionals and future dietitians. You may also need this information if you want to understand more about proper diet, so you will be able to create healthy and effective menu for your fitness goals.

Fitbit’s nutritional information is very inaccurate especially when tracking fat or sodium. I have no idea where their information comes from or when it was last updated. This is a huge short fall for Fitbit.
