Hello! ![]()
A few days ago I saw a meal that looked weird but when I tasted it, it was delicious. I am talking about quinoa, it looks like rice and it tastes good. When I got home I saw a recipe with quinoa and I really want to try it some day. It is "Quinoa and Black Beans" and here's the recipe, maybe you will want to try too.
And you can prepare this in 3 easy steps:

@AlejandraFitbit Wow! This looks delicious. Where did you eat it for the first time?

@AlejandraFitbit Thank you for the Recipe.
Personally I like to prepare my quinoa with chilly peppers or sweet peppers, purple onion and garlic, tomato and at the end, once cooked i add some butter on top of it. Adding the beans and corn seem like a really good trick. I add parsley instead of cilantro.
Also I use Quinoa more as a side dish, as if it were rice which is why I did not add so much into it. With the beans it seem it would be a complete meal ( I would still add some kind of meat but that is just my inner Carnivore speaking)

Went to the super market yesterday, quinoa was very expensive
Is it normal for them to cost around $5.00? I mean, I still got them, but maybe I can find them a little bit cheaper on another market.
What do you guys think?

Best AnswerThis is actually great with a little less liquid and mashed together to form burgers.
Quinoa is more expensive than rice yes but it's very filling. I personally like the tri-colour quinoa. Also make sure you rinse it before boiling because it can have a very bitter coating on it.
