My husband and I are starting keto and we will be using our fitbit app to track food. I love seeing that since 2015, the macros have become view-able in the app, but I am curious. Is there a way to set macro goals? I found where I can set th "Food Plan" but that seems to be purely a caloric counter. It would be great if we could set the specific macro values that we want to reach or maintain.
Does anyone know if this is possible and I just haven't found it? Or if maybe it is a coming update?

@AntieMoe I don't think it is a current feature. I'm just manually watching macros in the PC browser and Android app dashboards.
The PC browser will tell you total grams of carbs, the Android app only gives you percentages of the total calories "in". It's helpful to know how to calculate grams of carbs from that information.
You probably already know how, but for those who don't, here's the formula: Total calories times carb percentage divided by 4 calories per gram equals grams of carbs. For example, today I have logged 594 total calories, of which 16% are carbs. 594 x 0.16 / 4 = 23.8 grams. The dashboard in my PC browser indicates 23.2 grams. The difference is due to rounding error.

Currently there is not a way yo change the Macros. I am also on Keto and what I did was download the app My Fitness Pal. I then set up to connect my Fitbit. My food then automatically get submitted to my Fitbit. It works very good this way.
