I drink coffee every morning and I'm already starting to feel dependent on this drink, but at the same time I want to lose weight.I also love adding something to coffee, for example: whipped cream, sugar or milk.Tell me, can I continue to drink this drink without harming the diet?

Thanks for getting back to the community @CarolineTucker7.
I know coffee makes you dependent because it helps you waking up. It depends of what you add to it if you're going to harm your diet. Check the calories of what you're consuming in order to see if it helps or not.

Welcome to the Community forums, @CarolineTucker7.
I feel like I'm totally dependent on coffee, I usually get strong headaches during the day when I don't drink it.
I learned that almost nobody likes drinking coffee without anything else (just black coffee) right from the beginning, because it's an acquired taste. I hated plain black coffee at the beginning, but now I love it, it just took me some time to get used to the taste.

Like so many foods and nutrients, too much coffee can cause problems, especially in the digestive tract. But studies have shown that drinking up to four 8-ounce cups of coffee per day is safe. Sticking to those boundaries shouldn't be hard for coffee drinkers in the U.S., since most drink just a cup of java per day.
