Those on Ketosis...

ANSWERED

Hi- I just started low carbing - I am on day 3.  I confirmed Ketosis this morning and I am wondering how many carbs I can eat per day to maintain it.  For the 1st two days, I only had about 5-8 carbs per day.  I would like to add in small portions of veggies, but I do not want to risk leaving Ketosis.  Looking for all advice on Keto.  My main goal is weight loss and then once I hit that goal, I plan to maintain it with keto lifestyle.

(I have done this before, but just getting back to it).

Net or total? Net recommended to be below 20g until adapted.

I haven't recorded the difference- just using the carb count of the food.

Likely to be total you're looking at then.  Some people are OK with up to 50 total carbs, but it is a very individual thing so maybe start with a limit of 20 and when you know you're OK with things and understand what you need to do, try very slight increases if you want to.
