My doctor told me I need to cut back on potassium and phosphorous. Even though I enter or add the nutrient information by editing the nutrional information if it is not listed or incorrect, Fitbit does not seem to track the totals.
has anyone ever needed to do this or know how I can retrieve the dat from Fitbit?

I was not very clear in my directions either. I actually meant to go to the food logs via your dashboard by clicking on the food tile.
This might also be causing why you feel you know more than the helpdesk, communication via text remains a challenge.
You can try out the premium for free to see if it is anything of your liking. Also others might have suggestions. I am not tracking potassium, cholesterol and phosphorous myself, so I don't know what good software for it would be.

I forgot to mention that I only have an IPad if that makes a difference.

If you use a browser (Safari) on the iPad and you go to the online dashboard there it should show it for potassium. I don't know for phosphorous.

Thanks for your reply. since I am technologically challenged I was not completely successful in following your directions. When I use safari to log into my account and go the dashboard, there are no nutrient Values provided. I only see them when I select the log option as note below.
Daily Totals

Fat
7 g

8 g

48.6 g

LOL, even though it is presented landscape on the log screen.
anywyas, I need potassium, cholesterol, phosphorous etc
i explored a bit and discoved that f I purchased the Premier version at $49.99 a year, one of the food reports lists additional nutrient information you can get totals on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Perhaps this is my only solution but I may explore software other than Fitbit as the Help request to Fitbit was a waste of my time. They were not even familiar with the Fitbit nutrient info screen when you select a food item. They wanted a screen shot of what I was talking about. I sent it to them anyway but I got the feeling I knew more about Fitbit than they did, and I don't know much.
again thank you so much for your suggestion.
