Nutrition Facts on packages show Vitamin K and Folate. Specific food: Baby Spinach (Fresh Express). How is this info put in so that the FOOD LOG section can reflect it? I try to have a salad for lunch, everyday. I basically took my lead from Dr. Joel Furhman (PBS TV). Lost about 30 lbs. [hey, if you cut out sugar (orange juice, reduce fat free milk intake from 2 gallons a week to a half gallon a week, almost no cake products, no ice cream) and cut out as much processed foods and eat fresh...you can lose 30 lbs. too! But, you are eating healthier than before. so, i modify his dictates and reduce/change what i can.] Also, had a blood clot about 3 years ago. Vitamin K assists in normal blood clotting...but when you are on blood thinners...it becomes something to monitor. So, it would be nice to have it enterable and trackable. Looking forward to responese...Joe

I agree. Many of us need to track our intake of various nutients for medical reasons (calcium, sodium, iron, folate, sugar...). It would be helpful to be able to track any nutrient listed on the label.

Hi Fitbitians...What about Vitamins & Minerials? They don't seem to be in the data base of Fitbit. It dosen't seem right to not count them as food. What about a consolidation of the above with those in the foods eaten, wouldn't that be helpfull to many?

On My Fitness Pal, which syncs with Fitbit, you can track up to 5 different things. I have mine set as carbs, fat, protein, Vitamin A and Potassium. I don't see Vitamin K as an option, though.
For anyone interested in tracking sugar and/or fiber, MFP does offer those as choices.

How did you change the nutrition tracking to other than the 5 that come up?
