For a week I had this going on and while it is now finally stopping I would like to help it stop a bit faster. what can I put in my food menu that will help with it?

Hi @Newfitkitty with my family, we have a few favorite things to help with that. Plain or buttered potatoes, rice or toast. Even potato chips seem to help - it could be the sodium in them that helps, plus they dissolve. There are the Pedialyte drinks which can help restore the electrolytes in your system. If it continues, you really should ask your health care professional, in case you might require a prescription.

Thank you I think I have two ideas of what it could be. One a week ago we had Wendy's Now normally that wouldn't cause it but me and my brother have been working on ordering out less and cooking more. The other thing is gas bubbles can disrupt a bowl movement. I also am now drinking grape Gatorade (So glad that I am now in an era where there are more flavors. I never liked the yellow, red, or green flavors growing up.) even though it turned it green lol. I will try the potato chips and we just had roast beef stew with the canned whole potatoes today. I also do small walks. don't want to try my normal long walk to the park just yet since I don't know when they put the porta potty in the park yet. I know it is when the weather gets warmer but I don't know when the city does it. I don't want to have to suddenly go when I am over a mile away. Good news is it is down to happening once a day and usually after my short walk.
Oh I also every other day eat apple sauce or fresh strawberries.

@Newfitkitty it seems you've got a good handle on things. I try to eat out less and cook more at home, but the times I do go to a fast food place, my stomach lets me know it was not the best choice. If you had to, you could keep a food diary to see what sets it off. With me, I've found that any lettuce on take out items can be an issue!
