Hi everyone and Merry Christmas! Just got my Fitbit Force and am wondering what's the best protein for breakfast? I make my own breakfast smoothies during the week and usually add protein powder to them. Right now I have Pure Protein Whey 25 mg, I bought this from Walmart. Is one protein powder better than the other?

Back to the origninal question... Best protein for breakfast. I mix it up but my favorite is 2oz. chicken breast, 1/4 avacado and 1 poched egg. It sticks with you until lunch and not a lot of carlories. I'm getting good at poching eggs in the microwace. Yes, it can be done.

My new favorite 'supplements' (I say that because I don't consider it an actual food) is Reserveage Organics "Grass-Fed Whey" - particularly the vanilla flavor.
As for real food? EGGS! You can prepare them in so many ways. Today, I sliced an onion into rings and set them in the frying pan, cracked the eggs into the rings, and seasoned them with sea salt, pepper, and garlic. I should have let the onions cook a little longer before adding the eggs, but otherwise it was excellent!

Hi! I am newly exploring the various fitbit communities and came across this one. I like that there is the focus on nutrition as well, as that is the biggest component to weight loss. I have found that my protein shake for breakfast is the best choice I can make. I am not a morning person and it is a much better alternative to not eating at all or going through the McD drive thru. I have done a overhaul of my nutrition and now am eating clean foods and utilizing a system to help me.
4 months ago my life was leaving me run down. Working FT and Grad school FT I was exhausted, day dreaming about naptime at 12 in the afternoon. Shopping for clothes is difficult. One of the worst experiences was riding on an airplane for the first time in years and struggling to fit into my seat. Something had to give. A family friend introduced our family to this nutritional system designed to provide amazing support to help us in achieving our goals. I began to use the products with my boyfriend in conjunction with a change in overall eating and wellness habits. I feel better than I have in a long time. Officially I have released 50.4 pounds since starting July 6th. But it is more than my weight that has been affected but my mood and outlook on life, ability to handle stress, and improved relationships all have benefited my overall wellbeing. Now I want to share this amazing opportunity with everyone. I struggled so much and am so thankful that I’m relieving those struggles.

Try taking some frozen spinach (remember it will cook down in size) and zap it in the microwave. Then spoon cottage cheese over the top. Yummy - and it is dense in vitamins and minerals, too.

Breakfast isn't something that I regularly get to eat unless I wake up early, in a rush I make some rolled oats with milk and a little honey on top. It is delcious and protien full. On the weekends I made some protien powder pancakes with a little honey and fruit on top!

I'm more of a chewer rather than a drinker at breakfast, a smoothie usually doesn't cut it for me.
I boil turkey sausages, eggs or grains the night before and I pack it in my bento box.

I use organic brown rice protein powder which is easier for most people to digest. "This easily digestible protein provides an extensive array of naturally occurring amino acids, the building blocks of protein. Ideal for individuals who suffer from food allergies and digestive difficulties."
I will admit it doesn't blend as smoothly as whey protein so I blend it a bit longer and add a few more berries to it to sweeten it up - I always buy vanilla flavored. You can find it most anywhere. I do believe it is healthier and better for you when you compare nutrition labels.

We do a lot of eggs, GF toast with organic honey and organic PB, GF chicken sausage (no nitrates-we get this from Costco), nitrate free canadian bacon (Costco), omelettes-you can do a meat in them or saute tomato, spinach, feta, throw that in there.
