If it is something that you make frequently or eat frequently, it might be worth while to put it in as a meal - just put in what would be in a single serving of what you make. I've done this for a few things that I make or eat on a regular basis so that I don't have to continuously put in the different components. I've also done this for things like salad, where the components stay the same, even if I know I am going to have to go back and change the amounts (since I weigh everything), so that I do not have to enter each thing individually.
