Inspire 2 not tracking heart rate and other stats

At first my device recorded steps, heartbeat,  target heartbeats reached,  etc. Now it is only recording steps. Also no flashing lights on backside when I remove device. Device is at full charge.  I bought it on Amazon and I am about to start a return.

Inspire has a setting to wear on a clip rather on wrist.  In that mode, heart rate is turned off.  Maybe you accidentally switched to clip mode.

Press both side buttons for a few seconds to bring up Quick Settings screen.  Look for On Wrist / On Clip setting and make sure it is set for on wrist.

Thank you.  Somehow my device was in clip mode.

Those Quick Settings seem to get changed by mistake fairly often, including 'Screen Wake' which affects screen turning on with arm lift.

The two weeks that I have owned my Fitbit have been crazy busy. Hopefully this week I'll have time to review the owner's manual.

Thanks for the info about the On/Off Wrist function. I set the wrist function to ON and  the green light turned back on and the Heartbeat functionality is now restored.  Thank You!!
