AZM still buzzing after turning off

I use this watch primarily for the timer. I do a set, i set a timer, i close my eyes and focus on my breathing. It is utterly unacceptable to be receiving 4+ zone minute buzzes when ive turned AZM off on the watch and all the notifications off on the app. Im this close to just tossing it in the trash, but I hope to find some solution first
