Hi all! I have had my fitbit inspire 3 for about 6 months and I haven’t had issues until the last couple weeks. To make a long story short i am looking for a alternative. I would just get an apple watch but I don’t want a phone on my wrist. I just want health metrics specifically steps and sleep, everything else isn’t super important to me. I just hate the size of smart watches if i am able to find one that’s the same or similar to the inspire 3 that would be ideal. anyone know of anything?

Hi there, @okllee. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Inspire 3. I will be glad to help you!
To better assist you, would you mind sharing with me more details of the issue with your Inspire 3? If you're experiencing any of the following issues and you've checked your settings, restart your device:
For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
Regarding your inquiry, we recommend checking out our comparison page at https://www.fitbit.com/compare, where you can see at a glance the features that each Fitbit device provides and their style. You can find there other Fitbit devices similar to the Inspire 3 when it comes to the style and size.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

@okllee , the Inspire 3 form-factor and functionality without requiring a Premium subscription is hard to beat but, unfortunately, Google has done a very poor job maintaining the device FW and App SW for this device after the Fitbit acquisition was completed.
I am hoping that Google will eventually resolve the Inspire 3 product performance issues that they've managed to create with their latest device FW and App SW releases but, until then, the only thing that you can do is to make sure that your device FW and App SW is always up to date, restart your Inspire 3 device as @MarreFitbit suggested anytime that you observe an unexpected behavior, and then restart your phone after restarting your device as well.
Hopefully, Google will eventually get their act together and release device FW and App SW updates that actually improve the product performance of the Inspire 3 device going forward.

Your post reflects my thoughts entirely. I’ve been looking for a replacement for my Inspire 3 following the latest update that has caused me and, based on scores of other posts, scores of other Fitbit users multiple problems that Fitbit/Google refuses to acknowledge, much less fix with another update. Apparently, Google is abandoning the Fitbit product line (https://www.express.co.uk/life-style/science-technology/1937763/rip-fitbit-google-confirms-end-of-sm...) and we’re on our own.
I’m looking at a couple of Garmin activity trackers that have fairly good reviews, seem to be priced right for my budget, and also appear to be about the same size (perhaps a bit larger but still smaller than an Apple watch) as my Inspire 3. The Vivosmart 5 includes heart rate monitoring and other features. I want to read some additional product reviews before making a purchase, but right now this device seems most promising.
