Been swimming 1.5 years with the inspire 3, every day, today instead of recognizing swimming it thought I used a rowing machine. Last week it thought I was walking but only for 10 minutes of my 60 minute swim. Any suggestions?

@Omi18   The recent firmware update included a new feature that will start the Exercise app on the Inspire 3 for six shortcuts: walk, run, bike, elliptical, rowing, and spinning.  This is different from the auto-recognized activities you control in the app.  Here is the fix:

  • Swipe left/right on your Inspire 3 and open your Exercise app
  • Search through the selections and find Rowing
  • Swipe up on the tiny "^" to get to the settings
  • Look for Auto-start and toggle it off

You should do it for the walk shortcut, too.  Do it for any other applicable shortcut.
