Since a while now, and worsened today in case of steps. Here is my Fitbit home screen as of now:
Note 86 zone minutes and 7022 steps. This correctly reflects the numbers I'm seeing on my Inspire 3. I scored these earlier today, and have synced several times since. I have been sitting completely still in these hours afterwards too.
Now consider the zone minutes screen:
Note 84 zone minutes, which is not 86.
Now consider my steps screen:
Note 6900 steps, which is not 7022.
Disclaimer: I have refreshed, restarted, rebooted and reinstalled my device, app and phone twice. The issue persists and obviously exists server-side with Fitbit. This is in line with what others reported for steps, but appears to extend to zone minutes. I have seen reports about calories and distance (km's) as well, but I don't check those stats myself on a daily basis.

They always suggest this. In this case, the fix was server-side, and just accidentally coincided with you doing the reinstall. 🙂 Whenever you see the reinstall/restart/sync/reboot the universe reply, just be aware they're simply copy-pasting from the moderators guidebook.
In any case, for now, it seems the steps issue is resolved again. I'm still having the zone minutes being off issue, but I'll repost that later with an extra stack of evidence, together with about 10 other reproducible bugs across the app. I'm just going to mark this one as resolved for now.

As mentioned elsewhere, but repeated here so this valuable constructive set of information that can aid the developers in resolving this for our community does not get lost:
This has been going on for quite a bit now. People on Reddit are continuously reporting the same. Support is providing no resolution. Paid customers are left with this critical issue. Just a random selection (I can keep on adding sources if desired, no shortage of them; just trying to help the developers gain an insight into the widespread scale of this issue affecting many paid customers):
Together with the whole community, I too am passionately looking forward to a swift and constructive resolution for the benefit of all.

I have had the same issue for several weeks (and minor annoyances for a few months) - seems like such a major FAIL that they could PLEASE GET THIS FIXED ASAP.

Cases are growing. The extent of the discrepancies is increasing:
I hope this insight that it is getting more widespread and the errors are getting larger and worse will provide the developers with constructive information to solve this issue, which is taking on disastrous proportions at this point.

Oh no, new variations of this critical issue are starting to pop up:
This is not good. I hope that these widespread reports are a constructive help to the developers, who are no doubt burning the midnight oil to fix this asap for our community.

Yes - experiencing the same issues. My Fitbit (inspire 3) records steps fine (matches my iPhone step count well), but then days later when I look at my app, (after it’s been synced multiple times a day just fine!), I have hundreds to thousands of fewer steps per day recorded. For example, I walk my dog every lunch time for 30 mins but some days last week and month, my Fitbit app says I took 0 steps from 10 am to 6 pm. Total recorded on the app was 9,022 but my iPhone was over 13,000. Very frustrating… maybe time to ditch Fitbit for another type of step tracker!

Fully agreed. There is nothing worse than incomplete and unreliable data. Anything tracked loses all its value the moment it is randomly modified or partially lost.
So far no acknowledgement from Fitbit yet, unless I missed it.

I found a thread where Fitbit suggested the following: uninstall the Fitbit app from your mobile phone, shut down/ restart your mobile phone, reinstall/ download the Fitbit app and login to your Fitbit account. This worked to return my missing steps to the app! Not sure if it’s a long term fix but it got my steps back for now.
