Battery box icon with slash on my Inspire 3

ANSWERED

My Inspire 3 shows what appears to be a battery icon with a slash thru it - located above the time and if you swipe up to the auto wake screen - you see it. I have tried charging to 100% and it is still visible. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Hi @apf993. Welcome back to the community forums.

Thank you for providing the information regarding your Inspire 3.

Please, give it a try scrolling up to settings and go to display settings, there is a setting called status tray. Try to turn it off and confirm that it's not showing up on the display again.

Mine was doing this too.

Mine was doing the same thing, which is what led me to this thread.  Although while getting here I ran into the Sync area of app that started syncing automatically, as well as Notifications from Apps...all were off and I turned some on.  In any case, after reading this answer I went to the Display Status, which was on (and I left it on), but the problem still resolved itself. Given this, I don't know if Syncing, turning on some App Notifications or just viewing the Display Status did the trick. The latter 2 seem unlikely.

I meant Display Settings/Status Tray was on (and I left it on)

I also have this issue and haven't been able to figure out how to fix it. Could you please explain how to find this setting. Is it on my fitbit itself or on the app?

Ruach525, it is on your Fitbit.  If you swipe the main time screen down (and keep swiping down) the last screen you come to is Settings.  Display Settings is the first screen available in Settings.  However, that Status Tray on/off didn't seem to be my issue.  Mine seemed to resolve itself when the Fitbit Sync'd w/phn...so I'm wondering if that icon really isn't a phn w/ line thru (rather than a battery), to indicate out of sync?  But maybe toggling that setting also forces a sync.  Hope this helps, Kathy M

I have the same problem, but all I need to do is swipe the screen and it goes away.  It does not seem to be related to the battery strength at all.

Just curious, do you mean it just goes away for that one instance or semi-permanently (like for hours/days) and then reappears?  The latter is my situation...and I assume if I swipe the screen, it'll at least go away for that instance,  Anyway, mine has only reoccurred once since being on this thread.

For me it happened when I'd check the time, either by flicking my wrist or my tapping on the screen. That icon would show up for a few seconds and then go away. Oddly, it didn't show up all the time, but enough to be disconcerting and make it harder to see the time. Changing the tray status to off seemed to make it go away.
