Broken tab on band pin

The tab on the pin that connects the band to my Fitbit proper broke. Now the pin is stuck and I cannot get the band off to replace it, rendering my FitBit useless Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can get it off?

 

I would never buy another Fitbit because of the horrible band attachment.
