Can I disable text & call notifications on my child's Inspire 3 (using Android Family)?

My daughter would like a Fitbit for Christmas - and she'll want to take it to school who have said they're only allowed if they cannot send/receive texts & calls.

Her mobile is always left at the school office (school policy - happy with that), which would be within range of Bluetooth.

I have Android Family link set up, so have a reasonable amount of admin control of her phone.

Would I be able to administratively disable call and text notifications so she cannot simply re-enable them?

Thanks for reading. I'd appreciate any pointers.

If your daughter is under age 13 (16 in some EU countries), she can’t use an Inspire 3.  A child can’t have a standard account unless they meet the age criteria.  In a nutshell, it has to do with children and internet privacy laws.

That being said, if she meets the criteria, there are Fitbit app settings that control call and text notifications.  Also, the functional Bluetooth range is about 30 feet or less due to walls.
