Can't edit the settings of my Inspire 3 through the Fitbit app

I am coming from the original Inspire to the Inspire 3.  I seem to remember being able to change many device settings through the app for the Inspire, but can't seem to make these same changes through the app for the 3.  It's hard to see and understand the different settings on the device itself.  Being able to make changes through the app would be much more useful.

Trend on newer models seems to be to put more controls on device itself, not sure why.  Perhaps settings specific to different models?

Maybe the manual helps you find the settings, or maybe not.

Inspire 3 manual (pdf) 

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Doesn't make sense to require a mobile device and FitBit app to use the Inspire 3, but then have no control over it other than on the Inspire itself.  Might have to make this a feature suggestion.

 

I looked through the manual last night after I set up the device for the first time.  Thank you.  Did see a few new options over the original Inspire.
