Can't migrate to Google Account

My current Fitbit is signed into my regular Fitbit sign on.  When I attempt to move it to my Google account I receive this message "your chosen google account uses an email address that's already registered with a different Fitbit account".  when I sign into my Fitbit on my desktop using my Google account I do not see any data.  So what do I do??  I want to move my existing Fitbit data from my Inspire 3 into my Google account but it won't let me because I apparently had connected a previous Fitbit to Google???  Has anyone experienced this?  I can't find a live person or Fitbit help email to directly assist me.
