Can't pair my Inspire 3 anymore

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi guys

My inspire 3 recently stopped syncing, so I removed it from the device and connect again, and Im stuck at the enter 4 digital code screen, it's like it won't let me enter code no matter how many times I press the keys

Its like as soon as I press the number it gets deleted

It sounds like a software issue

Any ideas?

On iPhone 15 pro max, latest firmware

Thx

Hi there, @Hkchickon. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having to pair your Inspire 3 once again to your Fitbit account. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot this issue before reaching out. I will do my best to help you with this!

As a first approach, may I know if you have any other Fitbit device paired to your Fitbit account? Is the Inspire 3 the only Fitbit device you have paired to your phone's Bluetooth?

To better assist you, please confirm whether you tried all the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Inspire 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Has nothing to do with connection,  its more like a bug in the keyboard input thing between my iphone15 and the fitbit app

Like i said,  i just cant enter the keyword into the app screen,  its like i can see any numbers i entered will be deleted,  cant enter even 1 digit.

@Hkchickon Thanks for getting back and the details provided in your recent post.

Please let me know whether you've tried the steps below:

  1. Make sure that your Inspire 3 has been properly removed from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  2. Make sure to turn off other Bluetooth connections that aren't in in use.
  3. Go to your phone’s settings and tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Then, go back to the previous screen and tap on the option “Force stop”.
  5. Reboot your phone and restart your Inspire 3.
  6. Try setting up your Inspire 3 once again.
