I don't know what I'm doing wrong here, but any advice please?
My daughter wants to use my old Fitbit Inspire 3. She is nearly 15yrs old, and installed the app to set the watch up.
The options are log in with Google, or log in with Fitbit. She's never had a fitbit account and there is no option to register, so the only option is to log in with Google.
When she hits log in with Google, it tells her that she needs to get a parent to log in and add her to the family group. When I install the fitbit app myself and try to do that, I can't continue without entering her date of birth, but the dates only go back to 2012 - she was born 2010 - because apparently 14 year old don't need a parent account!
So she can't log in and I can't add her, so what do we do?!

@Djdkx I apologize if I'm misreading your post. I can think of a couple things. First, her personal demographics are incorrect in her Google account. Second, where do you live? The age is 16 in some EU countries because of their digital privacy laws.
If this doesn't help you, I recommend contacting Support.

Thank you for the reply.
Her details are correct in both her Google account and FamilyLink.
We are in the UK, and I believe over 13s can have their own account - as would seem to be suggested by the fact that when I try to set her up as a child account I can only select a date of birth back to 2012, so she should be able to set herself up, yet it won't allow her to, 'ask a parent to add you is the only option she gets 🫠

@Djdkx Google Family Link has its own privacy restrictions. It is my understanding that you need to remove your daughter from Family Link. It might take 24 hours or so, then she can setup her Fitbit. You should be able to add her back to Family Link in another day or two. Recent posts from others say this works with Fitbit models, but not a Pixel Watch.
