Can't stop email notification on my Inspire 3

Hello,  I have been getting gmail email notifications on my inspire 3 for 2 weeks now. I have searched the internet for solutions and tried all suggestions including turning off all email notifications within the settings,  restarted my phone but I am still getting notifications all hours of the day and night and it's very disturbing.  Any insights would be so appreciated.

If you have already turned off the email notifications, please try the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings on your mobile device
  2. Click on Apps
  3. Click on the Fitbit app > Storage > Click on Clear Cache and Clear Data
  4. Force quit your Fitbit app
  5. Restart your phone and restart your Inspire 3
