Hello,
I don't understand why I cannot have Exercisefocus 'On' without having DND ON.
I need to activate DND in order to be able to activate Exercisefocus which makes no sense.
do you have the same problem? I remember for the Luxe was not the case.
regards
Carmelo

@carmelomaf I think the Inspire 3 is too new for other users to have enough experience. I wish I could help you, but I don’t own one.

I have the same issue as @carmelomaf
I searched the web and finally found this issue. This doesn’t seem to be a bug for the luxe according to a youtube tutorial that I watched
im also NOT able to turn on Exercise focus. At first I didn’t know why. Then I was able to turn it on only when DND is ACTIVE
I already tried restarting and syncing but the issue persists.
Im using Inspire 3 as well. Please fix the issue with an update.

thanks a lot for sharing same problem as well.
I ordered a second one that has the same problem. It seems to be a bug that has to be updated.
I ask the fitbit moderator to avoid to put always the same possible solution.
I think people are not stupid...restart solution we try automatically always.
regards
carmelo

I agree. “Have you tried turning off and on” won’t work here 🙂
I bought 2 pcs of inspire 3. Both have the same issue. Not really a deal breaker for me but it would really be nice to have this fixed
@YojanaFitbit please relay the issue to the developers. Hopefull we can have this prioritized. Thank you

Same here. Looks like a bug it the software. Or, is it designed so you focus on excercise and nothing disturb you?
I'd rather have an option to use it with or without DND..

Noting it's 2+ months since the OP and no resolution in hand. "Exercise Focus" is a great idea, and is a setting I would definitely use. Sure, before I exercise I can turn on DND, but I frequently forget to turn it off until quite some time after I'm done exercising. I hope this bug gets resolved soon!

I just picked up an inspire 3 yesterday and noticed this issue as well. Coming from the charge 5 which uses a similar UI the behavior of this feature is inconsistent.

Firmware update a few days ago did not fix this issue. Exercise Focus cannot be turned on unless DND is turned on first, defeating the purpose.

I keep turning on - always on - in settings, but that's not the way it should be. We did raised the issue, that wasn't the case on other devices. It's a shame that no one seems to listen.

That's true. Is this the norm with FitBit? Might as well switch to Apple Watch then

At first I thought that this behavior it’s an error, but now it seems quite logical to me.
Exercise focus can be activated only in DND mode so you can still feel the vibration FOR your exercise notification ( laps, hearth rate zones..). It’s only in DND because that’s the point, only the exercise app can Disturb you.

I don't think this will ever get fixed, unfortunately. I already bought an apple watch and I use it with my fitbit. Apple's good with updating their software, for better or worse
