Change to Hourly Step Goal Retractive. Why?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Today I expanded the number of hours covered in my daily goal. I expected the change to show up from today forward. Instead, when I checked the Fitbit app, I noticed that the change was made retroactive to all previous goals. Why? I know I met most of those daily goals, but now the app makes it appear I missed them all. It's very disheartening and leaves me with a sense of regret in making the change.

Why is the app "punishing" me for trying to make a positive change in my fitness goals?

@Dezzie_Bean   Sadly, this is an inherent flaw in the program code.  This affects more than the hourly step goal.  It will happen to any metric where you set and change a goal and get that green star on your app.
