I just opened my Fitbit app and it prompted me to move it to a Google account and all my data is gone. I don’t even have any data from today which was just showing up a couple hours ago before I moved it to the Google account. I also don’t even see a field for the step count on the screen anymore. Has anyone had this issue and found a way to recover historical data? Pretty disappointed that a seemingly simple move to a different account wiped everything. I even had to re-add my device.

Thank you for taking the time to share with me this information about the difficulty with your account.
To resolve this, please double-check that you are logging in with the specific Gmail account that is now linked to your Fitbit profile. This issue often occurs when users manage multiple Gmail addresses or have more than one old Fitbit account.
A helpful tip: If you are successfully logged into the correct migrated account, your profile should clearly display the original date when you first joined Fitbit. Checking this detail is a great way to confirm you've landed in the right place!
Hope this helps you get back into your account quickly. See How do I manage my Fitbit profile? > How do I see the date that I joined Fitbit?

Looks like I am logged into the correct account (the one I used for my profile in the first place) and my date joined was June which seems approximately right, maybe a little bit after I actually joined but in any case, my data is still not popping up.
