Disabled “auto recognize” but still thinks lawn tractor is a bike.

The only exercise that I have enabled to auto-recognize is walking. Everything else including bike is disabled, but my Inspire 3 (20001.10.26) still logs my lawn tractor as a bike.

any thoughts?

thanks

Open the Exercise app on Inspire 3;  find bike option; swipe up to find auto-start and turn it off.

Auto-start was added within the past year.  When it was added, it seems the option was turned on as default, causing much confusion.  For the Inspire 3 it applies to bike, elliptical, rowing, run, spinning, and walk.  It is separate  from auto-recognize.   What it does is, after recognizing the activity for several minutes, it acts as if you had started it from the Exercise App, which can neatly automatically turn on some other options for you, as long as you wanted them and knew what was happening.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
