I had an inspire 3 for over a year and enjoyed the all the benefits a Fitbit has to offer, but I had experienced a few issues with the heart rate and sleep tracking, so I decided to upgrade to the Luxe. It’s been just over 3 months with the Luxe and I like how sleek it is Vs the Inspire, however the gps function, heart rate and sleep tracking are still on the fritz. I was able to look past this as it’s still meeting my needs 80% of the time. Now with this new app update those issues have seemed to worsen and it NEVER syncs! It takes a day or two sometimes. Like what’s the point of logging my diet if it won’t correspond with my data.
I’m just so fed up that I don’t even want to wear it anymore. Which is a shame because this device keeps me honest with its diet and exercise tracking.
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity
I’m thinking of switching to Garmin. Does anyone else have similar issues? Or has anyone tried Garmin? (Sorry for the rant)
Hello Sunio, my daughter swears by her Gamin rather that at it!! she had one and never thought twice about updating it-she does running, swimming and kick boxing and checks heart etc as well as her food/drink intake, I am just learning the Fitbit Inspire 3 after years of having a Flex2 which did what I wanted at the time, basic steps/distance, cycle and swimming- I find I forget to changing to exercise mode then starting and stopping it-Flex2 did it for me by itself!! xx
I have sleep tracking and exercise, and syncing issues since the update. So is Fitbit trying to force us Inspire 3 users into buying a more expensive Fitbit by creating issues? Fitbit should be fixing these issues. i should not have to invest in a more expensive tracker. My Inspire 3 is only year old.
I agree! I certainly hope they aren’t trying to push us into a new purchase, I’m very unhappy with the new “ update” , and wouldn’t want to purchase another product by a company I’m unhappy with! I have loved it in the past, started with ALTA. But if they refuse to change this I’m done with Fitbit, which is sad.
