I’m a US traveler using Google Fi on my phone. I found that if I visit a country where the ecg app is not approved, the app still works if I sync using Fi. If I sync over local Wi-Fi, the app is uninstalled on both the phone and Fitbit. However, If I disconnect from Wi-Fi and sync using Fi, the app automatically reinstalls.
