Does downloading your data delete it from your account as well?

If I download my data from fitbit, does this delete it from my account as well?

Hi there, @slyf. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I will be glad to answer your inquiry. 

Please note that downloading your data from Fitbit does not delete it from your account. Exporting your data simply creates a copy of your information. Your historical data remains safely stored on Fitbit/Google servers as long as you do not specifically request to delete your account.

Key details regarding data management:

Export vs. Delete: You can download your data as often as you like without losing it.
Data Deletion: Deleting your account is a separate action that removes data, which may take up to 90 days to fully process.
Account Migration: If you are migrating to a Google account, your data is transferred, not deleted.
