Features for people who want to build muscle

You should be able to set your nutrition and body goals to gain weight and build muscle. Not everyone wants to lose weight! We should be able to set goals for the day by macros -- I'm trying to reach my protein goals and the app does nothing for that.

Hi, @waterbottle123 , you can certainly set a goal to gain weight if you want! To set a weight goal on Fitbit please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture.
  2. Scroll down and tap Activity & Wellness.
  3. Tap Nutrition & Weight.
  4. Under Weight you can include your goal, start date and starting weight.

Your goal can be more than your starting weight as well as less.

There are also apps that link with Fitbit, such as MyFitnessPal that can help with tracking macros.  To connect your Fitbit to another app follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account on the app or website of a company that offers Fitbit integration, such as MyFitnessPal or Runkeeper.
  2. Find the option to connect another account, often under "Apps" or "Connect."
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions and log in to Fitbit when prompted.

I know you are not the only one to want to use your Fitbit app to track and achieve your Macro goals.  The best way to make your voice heard on this matter is  through the Product Feedback Forum.  That forum is monitored and the most popular suggestions are passed on to the development engineers. I have had a look for you, and would suggest having a look at this feature request to allow users to set macronutrient goals.
