Feedback about customize metrics shown on Inspire 3

Why can’t I customize which metrics I see on my Fitbit? I only want to see a handful on the device itself because I can look at everything on the app. Ex: I don’t need to see menstrual cycle on the device screen. When I contacted customer support about this and used that specific metric as an example, their solution was for me to just stop tracking it. I want to track it, I just don’t want it on my device screen.

The initial post I saw on this is locked for comments … there were 15 pages of ppl wanting this from 2019 to 2022. Several ppl bring up the point if you have an eating disorder or other condition - seeing calories or other metrics is actually detrimental and possibly dangerous.

This seems like an easy fix especially since older/previous models (Ex: Alta) could do this. It’s frustrating so many people have inquired about this - providing great feedback/justification for 4+ years w/ why it’s a needed function - w/o any change.

Hi there, @AmberH27. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for your feedback and for participating in our community.

We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, and we appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers. It takes time to move suggestions through discussion with relevant teams and potentially onto our product development roadmap. Our development cycle for new products varies based on a number of factors and usually includes an internal planning period, which is why sometimes new features may not appear as quickly as you would like.

Additionally, some of the reasoning behind our decision-making may be proprietary which means we can’t always share the full picture with you, but we aim to share what we can. We hope you understand that we take community opinions incredibly seriously, and that your ideas truly are a source of abundant and fruitful internal discussions around how we advance our product and service offerings.
